    I have come to the conclusion that there is some greater power that does not want me to deadlift. For one reason or another, I have missed deadlift day for the past 3-4 weeks. I was excited when I woke up and saw deadlifts were programmed for today. I was on my way to 6:30 class when I ran into gridlocked traffic on 295. It was almost 7:00 before I got through it and it was too late to go to class. Not a good start to my Wednesday.

    I got a PR in my deadlift today, for 5 reps too! very excited!

    Dave that really stinks… I take a risk every morning traveling 295 as well, you never know what could happen.

    Nice job on the PR! What is your deadlift, like 350lb by now? :)

    Y’know… I thought I had an ok day yesterday morning, pulling 325 for five reps of a DL, and then, when I went to yoga last night, I saw Shamus pulled 385 and Pat got 370. Damn, that’s just freakin’ phenomenal for five reps. Nice work.

    Thanks Steve. I decided to go for broke and hit my 5 rep PR, then used 315 on the metcon. I was much slower than I could have been but I’m happy to have done it anyway.
